Description: GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Under the direction fo the Housekeeping Lead/Camp Manager, this position is responsible for performing housekeeping duties.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

 Always wear the proper personal protection equipment (PPE)

 Maintain current certification of all required training

 Participate in Task Hazard Assessments of any new or changed tasks. Periodically re-examine routine tasks for any new hazards that might be introduced due to product or equipment changes

 Attend and be an active participant in daily Tool Box Meetings and weekly Safety Meetings

 Maintain a safe and sanitary working area

 Wing assignment paperwork daily (Occupency report)

 Dusting

 Vacuuming

 Mopping

 Sanitizing Bedrooms

 Cleaning/Sanitizing Bathrooms (showers, sinks, toilets, floors)

 Making Beds

 Wash Windows & Screens

 Laundry (collect, wash, dry, fold and redistribute)

 Stock supplies and maintain inventory for assigned area

 Stock linens and maintain inventory for assigned area

 Proper labeling of all chemical containers

 Promote a safe work environment for coworkers, residents and self

 Added duties as assigned from the direction of the Housekeeping Lead

 Mentor new employees

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

 High School Graduate or Equivalent

 Pass criminal history and background check

 Pre-employment UA

 Pre-employment Stress Test

Preferred:

 Remote camp experience and/or hotel experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Required:

 Good communication skills including the ability to speak, read and write English

 Ability to follow oral and written instructions

 Ability to lift 50 lbs

 Strong client/customer service skills

Preferred:

 Knowledge of cleaning products
